Elementary and Secondary School Counselor

The Weatherly Area School District is seeking applicants for an Elementary and Secondary School Counselor. This position will be available for the 2025-2026 school year. All applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania Elementary and Secondary School Counselor Certificate. Further qualifications include (1) strong academic background, a deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards and District curriculum, and skilled in data analysis of student performance information, (2) experience implementing social/ emotional curriculums in the Pre K - 8 classrooms, (3) strong technology background, (4) experience with 504 process and requirements, (5) ability to creatively prepare, communicate, and present effective instructional strategies with understanding and empathy for students, (6) understanding of 339 planning as well as college and career readiness standards. Completion of successful interviews and meeting all local standards and requirements a must. Any interested persons should submit a Standard PA teaching application, letter of interest, resume, transcripts, copy of valid PA certificate, Acts 114, 34, 24, and 151 clearances and three recent letters of recommendation to Mr. Daniel M.
