SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

The Weatherly Area School District is seeking applicants for a permanent, full-time, 12-month Superintendent of Schools position. Enrollment is approximately 700 students in grades PreK-12 on one campus setting with an approximate budget of $20 million.

Requirements: PA Superintendent letter of eligibility, central office experience, visionary community-minded leader who is an excellent communicator, strong in curriculum, planning, negotiations, finance, staff selection and development, knowledge of current educational issues, education laws, federal and state mandates, effective and efficient use of technology, curriculum integration, budgeting, and experience in developing and designing long-range plans for effective distinct operations. Past experience in grant writing is preferred. Salary negotiable and competitive based on training and experience.
