Assistant Sewer System Operator/Maintenance

The Municipal Authority
of Hazle Township is accepting applications and resumes for
the full time position of
Assistant Sanitary Sewer System Operator/Maintenance.
This position requires a reliable, dedicated, self-motivated
independent individual for the
operation, maintenance and repair of sixteen (16) sanitary sewer pump stations, sanitary sewer collection/
conveyance system, and Authority office complex in Hazle Township, Luzerne County.
Must be available to work
weekends, holidays, and
emergencies when needed, as this is an on-call position.
Minimum qualifications:
High School graduate, must have
a valid PA drivers license, pass
a pre-employment physical,
drug/alcohol test, background check, and be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. We offer a competitive salary
commensurate with experience along with benefits. Licensed
applicants, or those with experience with sewer system maintenance
are preferred, but not required.
