Water/Wastewater Operator

The Conyngham/Sugarloaf Joint Municipal Authority has an immediate opening for a full-time, day shift operator.
Water/Wastewater system duties include, but are not limited to, meter readings, hydrant maintenance, hands-on operation of the potable well houses and wastewater treatment plant, performing daily testing parameters, completing daily reports, logging plant data, and conducting testing procedures necessary to monitor plant performance and evaluate process control.
Additional responsibilities include responding to PA One Calls, assisting with water and sewer line repairs, and performing general maintenance of the Authority's facilities and equipment.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Experience and certifications are preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, dependable, and exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
