ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR Grades K-8

Candidates must possess a valid PA K-12 School Counselor Certificate
.
Qualifications/requirements include:
1) Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information
2) Experience implementing social/ emotional curriculums in the PreK-8 classroom
3) Strong technology background
4) Experience/orientation for 504 process ad requirements
5) Ability to creatively prepare, communicate and present effective instructional strategies with the understanding and empathy for students and the assigned level
6) Understanding of 339 planning, as well as, college and career readiness standards

Completion of successful interviews and meeting all local standards and requirements are required.
