CHIEF OF POLICE
RUSH TOWNSHIP is seeking candidates for the position of Chief of Police. The position is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Townships patrol officers, enforcing the Police Departments Standard Operating Procedures, implementing the Departments budget, and serving as the liaison between the Department and Board of Supervisors. The Chief will be required to actively patrol and perform administrative functions. Shift work is required. Candidates must be Act 120 certified or be able to obtain Act 120 certification prior to the commencement of duties. Prior municipal law enforcement experience is required.
