OFFICE CLERK/SECRETARY POSITIONS
The Municipal Authority of Hazle Township is accepting applications and resumes for both Full Time and Part Time positions of Office Clerk/Secretary. These positions require experienced, reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills to perform and assist with all clerical, secretarial and administrative duties at the Authority office located at 79 Harleigh Boulevard, Harleigh, PA.
Office Clerk/Secretary shall possess strong computer skills, with proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other proprietary accounting, financial and billing software programs.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to: general clerical work, customer service, billing, collecting payments and general accounting duties.
Previous clerical, accounting, and financial experience is preferred. Previous experience in the municipal, wastewater or water industry is preferred but not required. The Authority offers a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum qualifications: High School graduate, post high school education in accounting or financial field and valid Pennsylvania Drivers License. The applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, criminal background check and drug & alcohol test.
